Individual & Group Counselling
Individual & Group Counselling
Support for counsellors and mental health professionals in their clinical work and growth.
My decision to start Talk With Me Counselling in 2012 was catalyzed by several life events. I realized that choosing a counsellor begins long before the first session. As a person-centred therapist, I work with you to establish a meaningful relationship where you feel safe to explore and resolve issues that fit your unique needs.
Support when anxiety, overthinking, stress, or emotional patterns feel difficult to manage.
Explore communication, trust, boundaries, connection, and recurring relationship patterns.
Trauma-informed counselling and EMDR when clinically appropriate.
Supervision for student and graduate counsellors, from a RCC-ACS.

Support for individuals and families facing life's challenges, transitions and emotional struggles.

Support for couples navigating conflict, communication difficulties, emotional disconnection, trust, boundaries, and recurring patterns. My training in Relational Life Therapy and Gottman Method approaches helps us look beneath the conflict and work toward greater understanding and connection.

Jungian sandplay therapy is a hands-on mental health treatment where clients use a tray of sand and small toy figures to build three-dimensional scenes that express their inner thoughts and unconscious feelings . Sandplay therapy is a powerful, non-verbal expressive treatment that allows both children and adults to process deep-seated emotions, trauma, and psychological distress. By using a sandbox, water, and miniature figurines, individuals create three-dimensional scenes that reflect their inner worlds.

Clinical supervision offers space for practicum students and early-career counsellors to reflect on clinical work, strengthen therapeutic skills, develop clinical judgment, explore ethical considerations, and grow professional confidence. I am an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) for those working toward the Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) designation. Feel welcome to book a 15-minute consultation call to explore fit and style.
Core Values form the foundation of the therapeutic approach, guiding my commitment to providing excellent counselling care.

I strive to go beyond just listening in order to create a non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions freely, knowing that they are never alone in the process. I believe empathy is a cornerstone of effective counselling, fostering trust and collaboration between clients and therapists.

I operate from a client-centered approach, trusting that clients are the experts on their own lives, and deserving of autonomy as well as support. I strive to create an atmosphere of safety and acceptance, and to demonstrate my ongoing commitment to anti-oppressive practice.

I believe in fostering open communication and trust between clients and therapists. From the initial consultation and through the therapeutic process, I prioritize clear and honest communication, ensuring that individuals have a comprehensive understanding of my approach and methods.
Finding a good fit is important. Start with a no-obligation 15-minute phone consultation. This is your opportunity to discuss your goals for counselling and to ask any questions you may have about my approach, training, and experience. Most importantly, it's a chance to gauge whether you feel comfortable.
Once you've decided to proceed, you can book online. Whether you're seeking short-term support or long-term transformation, the pace and frequency of sessions are determined by your needs.
